Second Amendment Case on Horizon

USA Today has an excellent round-up of McDonald v. City of Chicago, the case callenging Chicago’s ban on handguns based on Second Amendment grounds.  The justices will hear argument this coming Tuesday on McDonald, which will determine whether the Second Amendment’s right to keep and bear arms applies to states and municipalities.  Currently, it doesn’t.

USA Today reports that Japan stands in the way of China being the world’s second largest economy last year.  ”Japan’s GDP last year totaled $5.09 trillion compared with China’s $4.91 trillion and the USA’s $14.26 trillion.”
The Japanese economy was “buoyed by recovering exports and rising consumer spending.”
Some additional good news from Asia comes from Afghanistan. [...]
