Climate Change Hoax

The American Thinker exposes through documentation hacked from Britain’s Climate Research Unit that the leading scientists for whom the Left has been relying to support global warming have been manipulating the data.  The director of the Unit confirmed the authenticity of the documents and his concern yesterday.  Some of the more damning evidence of course comes from emails:

After all, the names of the email exchangers represent a who’s who of the world’s leading climate alarmism scientists, including Stephen Schneider, Gavin Schmidt and James Hansen.  And the words within seemingly betray an organized apparatus of deception.

In one particularly odious email dated November 1999, Jones writes to Michael Mann, Raymond Bradley and Malcolm Hughes:

“I’ve just completed Mike’s Nature trick of adding in the real temps to each series for the last 20 years (ie from 1981 onwards) amd from 1961 for Keith’s to hide the decline.”

Now, these are the same Mann, Bradley and Hughes whose MBH98 reconstruction (aka the “Hockey Stick” graph) — which deceitfully depicts last millennium’s global temperatures as flat prior to a dramatic upturn last century — remains the poster-child of global warming hysteria despite being thoroughly debunked.  And here we find Jones writing the three the following year admitting to using Mann’s “trick” to “hide” a temperature decline.

I would say these fellas have some answering to do, especially considering a former Vice President basically used this graph to obtain a Nobel Prize, Congress is considering taxing the hell out of American business using a “cap and trade” system based on this data, and Americans are supposed to start living like serfs in the Medieval age for fear of what Global Warming is doing to our environment.  My family has two hybrid automobiles and I recycle, I am no rape and pillage the earth type of guy, but I am mad as hell that scientists are manipulating data for their “Deep Ecology” agenda which puts nature over man.  Good environmentalism is about saving our planet for us, so that we can enjoy the bounty that the Creator provided.
